How can I personalise a greeting card on your website?
Personalising your card is quick and straightforward. Here's how it works:
- Choose a Card: Browse our collection and select a design you love.
- Add to Basket: Once you've chosen your card, add it to your basket. You will be prompted to personalise your card at this stage.
- Add Your Message: Type your personal message inside the card. You can choose from a selection of font styles and sizes.
- Preview & Confirm: Review your card before proceeding to checkout.
If you are scheduling a card, you can also personalise it directly from the schedule overview.
If you need any help during the personalisation process, our support team is always happy to assist.
Can I upload my own photos to the card?
We do not currently offer the ability to upload photos to our cards. Our cards are personalised through your written message and choice of font size and style. If this is something you would like to see in the future, please let us know by contacting us at support@memory-card.co.uk as your feedback helps us improve our service.
Is there a limit to the amount of text I can add?
Yes, character limits apply depending on the font size you select:
- Small font: Up to 600 characters
- Medium font: Up to 500 characters
- Large font: Up to 250 characters
If your message is too long for your chosen font size, the editor will notify you and prompt you to switch to a more appropriate size so your message fits comfortably on the card.
Are there any restrictions on what I can include in my personalised message?
We ask that all personalised content complies with our Content Policy. The following types of content are not permitted:
- Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language
- Content that is defamatory or harassing towards an individual
- Explicit or adult content
- Content that promotes illegal activity
- Copyrighted text or song lyrics
Orders containing content that violates our policy may be cancelled without prior notice. If you're unsure whether your message is acceptable, please contact us before placing your order.
Can I order a sample of my personalised card before placing a large order?
We do not currently offer sample orders. If you are considering a bulk order and have questions about print quality or card specifications, please get in touch with our team at support@memory-card.co.uk and we will do our best to help.
What if there's a typo in my personalised message after I've placed my order?
If you notice a typo after placing your order, please contact our support team as soon as possible at support@memory-card.co.uk with your order reference number and the correction needed. We will do our best to amend the message, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has been placed.
To avoid this, we recommend carefully reviewing your message in the editor preview before confirming your order.
Do you offer help with card personalisation?
Yes! If you are unsure what to write, our card editor includes a "Need help with message?" button. Clicking this will bring up a selection of message templates covering a range of occasions, which you can use as they are or adapt to make your own.
