How do I schedule items to be sent automatically?
Scheduling items to be sent automatically is quick and easy with Memory Card. There are two ways to do it depending on whether you'd like to choose the card yourself or let us pick one for you.
Option 1 - Choose the card yourself
- Select your card. Browse our range and choose the card you want to send.
- Choose your contact. Select the person who will receive the card. You can add a new contact at any time from the Contacts section of your account.
- Pick the occasion and date. Select the occasion, such as a birthday or anniversary, and choose the date you'd like the card to arrive.
- Enter the household address. Choose the delivery address for the card. You can save addresses as households in your account to save time in future.
- Select delivery preferences. Choose whether this is a one-off send or a yearly recurring occasion, and select standard or tracked delivery.
Option 2 - Let Memory Card choose the card for you
- Choose your contact. Select the person who will receive the card.
- Pick the occasion and date. Select the occasion and choose the delivery date you'd like us to work towards.
- Enter the household address and delivery preferences. Choose the delivery address and decide whether this is a one-off or yearly recurring occasion.
- Review the card we choose for you. We'll select a suitable card and notify you three weeks before it is sent. If you're happy with our choice, everything continues as planned. If not, you can switch to a different card before payment is taken.
Please note that items need to be scheduled at least 3 weeks before the intended delivery date to allow time for production and postage.

Can I arrange for you to select the card for me?
Yes! When scheduling an item, you can choose to let Memory Card select a suitable card on your behalf. Simply choose your contact, pick the occasion and date, and enter the delivery address and we'll take care of the card selection for you.
We'll notify you three weeks before the card is due to be sent so you can review our choice. If you're happy with it, no action is needed. If you'd prefer a different card, you can swap it out before payment is taken.

How much notice do you need to send a scheduled item?
We need at least 3 weeks notice to schedule an item. This allows sufficient time for card selection (if applicable), printing, personalisation, and postage.
We recommend scheduling as early as possible to avoid missing the date, particularly for international deliveries where postage times can vary. If you're unsure, please contact our support team and we'll be happy to help.
Can I edit or cancel my scheduled items?
Yes, you can edit or cancel a scheduled item, provided it has not yet entered production. Here's how:
- Log In to your account and go to Scheduled Items.
- Find the item you wish to change and select Edit or Cancel.
- Make your changes and save, or confirm the cancellation.
Please note that once an item has been sent to print, we are unable to make changes or issue a cancellation. If you're unsure of the status of your item, please contact our support team as soon as possible.
How often do scheduled items repeat?
When setting up a scheduled item, you can choose from two options:
- Once. A one-time send on your chosen date.
- Every year. The card will be sent automatically on the same date each year. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, and other recurring occasions.
You can update this preference at any time from your Scheduled Items dashboard, as long as the next send has not yet entered production.
How far in advance can I schedule items?
You can schedule items up to 1 year in advance. This makes it easy to plan ahead for milestones, holidays, and recurring occasions without having to remember each time.
We recommend reviewing your scheduled items periodically to ensure delivery addresses and personalisation details remain up to date, especially for recurring sends.
My scheduled items were sent with incorrect details. Can you provide assistance?
We're sorry to hear that your scheduled item was sent with incorrect details. Please contact our support team as soon as possible with the following information:
- Your order or scheduled item reference number
- A description of the incorrect details
- The correct information that should have been used
We'll do our best to resolve the issue promptly. Depending on the nature of the error and whether the item has already been dispatched, we may be able to:
- Resend the item with the correct details
- Issue a full or partial refund
- Provide a credit towards a future order
To help avoid this in the future, we recommend double-checking your scheduled items regularly, particularly recipient addresses and personalised messages.
